"Everything is going good right now" said Bennett. "It's been kind of crazy but I'm just taking it one day at a time. I knew something good would come but I'm just trying to take it all in."
"It was great, I knew TCU was interested in me but not that interested" he said. "They called and talked to my dad for about an hour and a half. They told him that I was the first receiver they offered for this year and that made me feel pretty good since they're in the Big 12. He told me after track practice, I was pretty excited."
"I was headed to Arkansas this weekend until that offer came through, now I'm just looking forward to seeing what TCU is like" said Bennett.
Bennett said that he will arrive in Ft. Worth early Saturday morning and he described what it is that he hoped to see during his visit.
"I really want to see what type of offense they run and see if the team is family oriented" he said. "I want to go somewhere that I can play right away too so I'll be looking at that. Obviously I want a school that has good academics because I want to go the engineering route or the medical field route."
With the recent offer and cancelation of his visit to Arkansas, Bennett says that he'll likely reschedule the trip to SEC country. He feels like an offer could come from Arkansas and he doesn't want to jump the gun too early on a commitment.
"I really just want to take my time and weigh my options" said the talented athlete. "I want to take a good look at all of the schools that want me and make a good decision."
With more offers sure to come, Bennett looks to be a hot commodity. Stay logged on to HornedFrogBlitz.com to see just where this young game breaker decides to call home.
