Massington can't wait to see TCU

Just one year later and TCU has targeted a pair of West Mesquite stars that they hope can help take them to the next level, one of them receiver Eldridge Massington.

TCU is familiar with West Mesquite football. The Horned Frogs dipped into the local program to snag superman impersonator Trevone Boykin during the 2011 recruiting cycle. Just one year later and TCU has targeted a pair of West Mesquite stars that they hope can help take them to the next level. HornedFrogBlitz.com caught up with Eldridge Massington to get his thoughts on the recruiting process and the Horned Frog program.

"The recruiting process has been great, I've been having a real good time" said Massington. "I'm enjoying it but I'm not letting it get to me. I'm really just working hard in the offseason and trying not to focus on it too much right now."

There's only one problem with that. Massington is a highly sought after player and programs across the country have taken notice of his impressive physical characteristics. The TCU Horned Frogs are one the programs that have shown the young playmaker attention and he says he can't wait to see what the TCU program looks like up close and personal.

"I always hear from other people how cool TCU is" said Massington. "I really want to see it for myself. I talked to Ra'shaad Samples and he was telling me how much fun it was and how nice the campus was. I also talked to Trevone Boykin and he tells me TCU is a blast. I really can't wait to see it for myself."

Massington plans to visit TCU on the weekend of the 25th along with teammate Kameron Miles. The dynamic duo will have plenty of options to choose from when it comes to decision time but Massington says that the two would really like to play together at the next level.

"Kameron and I would like to play together at the same school" he said. "We also want to commit at the same time so we'll see what place fits us the best. I plan on making my decision after the spring and sometime before my senior year starts."

With offers on the table from Virginia, Connecticut, Baylor, Oregon State, Colorado, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and TCU, the 6'3" Massington will undoubtedly make one team very happy.
