"It's going pretty well, I picked up a few early offers and now it's starting to slow down a little," Rhodes said. "There have been a few major schools that have contacted me and I want to get out to them (visit) and hopefully pick up a few more"
Rhodes says that Missouri is currently his number one school. What is he looking for in a program?
"I want to go to a place that I fit in and where I'm comfortable," he said. "I'm looking for a place where I can excel both academically and athletically. The coaching staff is important, I want to be comfortable with the coaching staff, get to know them before I make my decision. I'm just looking for a place that has a great atmosphere."
Rhodes has received steady interest from TCU and has taken an unofficial visit last year when the Frogs battled SMU. Rhodes gave the visit glowing remarks despite the loss.
"I loved it there, it was my first unofficial. It was a great time, TCU has a beautiful campus and I got to watch them play Southern Methodist and it was a great atmosphere," Rhodes said. "Even though they lost, it was a good game and they're a fun team to watch."
Although the Frogs haven't offered, Rhodes says that if they do come through with an offer, they would be in good position to land his services.
"I definitely think they would be towards the top of my list," he finished.
