After "surviving" a wet game against rival SMU, TCU moved up in the USA Today poll Sunday.

The TCU Horned Frogs football team rose to number 13 in the USA Today Poll after their 24-16 victory over SMU Saturday.

TCU now ranks one spot ahead of Big 12 foe Oklahoma in both polls. The AP Poll has the Frogs tied with ACC powerhouse Clemson. TCU held steady at 15 in the AP poll, but the AP poll does not factor into the BCS formula.

In 2011, TCU fell from both polls in week six after a defeat at the hands of SMU. TCU had been ranked 20th in both polls in 2011 week five.

In 2010, the Frogs were ranked 5th in both polls during week six, and in 2009, TCU ranked 10th in the AP Poll and 9th in the USA Today poll during week six.

Six Big 12 teams are ranked in the top 25, and five of those schools rank in the top 15.

Big 12 teams ranked are as follows (USA Today Poll):

7. West Virginia

8. Kansas State

9. Texas

13. TCU

14. Oklahoma

24. Texas Tech

Oklahoma State and Baylor were dropped from the AP Poll.

TCU holds the nation’s longest winning streak.
