Six juniors out of the South were named five-star prospects by Scout last week and you can see images of that group here in this Photo Gallery.

Six of the 12 five-star prospects in the 2012 class are out of the South region and all are national recruits.

It is a very strong year in the state of Louisiana and four of the six come out of there and Alabama and Florida each have an early five-star as well.

Cameron Robinson is a 6-6/335 offensive tackle out of Monroe (La.) West Monroe and he is the No. 2 prospect in the country.
Marlon Humphrey is the No. 1 cornerback in the country and he stars at Hoover H.S. in Alabama.
Leonard Fournette is an elite running back with size and speed out of St. Augustine in New Orleans, La.
Sony Michel is like a living legend down in south Florida. He ran for over 1,500 yards as an 8th grader on the varsity level and he took off from there.
Edna Karr H.S. in New Orleans, La. has a lot of talent and 2014 DE Gerald Willis is their top prospect.
Laurence Jones is a big corner at Neville H.S. right now, but Scout projects him to be an elite safety on the next level.
