Iowa State beats TCU 63-50

Freshman Clyde Smith played season-high in minutes

TCU loses Saturday afternoon despite playing nearly even with Iowa State for 36 minutes. A 14-4 Iowa State run in the final four minutes of the the first half made the difference for the Cyclones.

TCU's defense held the nation's seventh best scoring team to just 63 points Saturday, 18 points below Iowa State's scoring average.
