Plano East WR One To Watch

Plano (TX) East receiver Adewale Omotosho had an impressive TCU camp last week and recently picked up his first offer from Arkansas State.

Just one week into summer, the Frogs' coaching staff has already seen several hundred prospects at various camps they've held. HornedFrogBlitz.com has been to each camp to witness some impressive performances.

One of the most intriguing prospects thus far is Plano (TX) East 2016 receiver Adewale Omotosho.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pounder put on a show at TCU's satellite camp in Plano last week as he ran a blistering 4.40 forty and 4.1 shuttle. With great size and speed, Omotosho also stood out in one-on-one's using both attributes to beat the defenders.

Not too bad for a player still learning the nuances of the position. He played corner as a sophomore but will line up at receiver for East this fall. He did well enough to definitely land on the Frogs' recruiting radar.

"I got a good work out in and got a little better," he said. "I got a lot of individual coaching with Coach Cumbie and the receiver coaches with my routes and my breaks. The coaches said I performed well and they like my size and everything and they'll be following up with me."

Omotosho didn't hear much from the Frogs' coaching staff prior to his camp visit. However, TCU is a program he's kept a close eye on for the past couple of seasons.

"I don't know too much, I've been to one of their games a couple of years back when they played SMU," he said of TCU. "That's when I really started to like TCU; I was actually going over as an SMU fan but I fell in love with TCU."

Omotosho received his first offer from Arkansas State on Monday after another impressive camp performance where he ran a 4.41 and broad jumped 10'-10".

He has a few more camps he hopes to attend this summer.

"I'm trying to attend a Baylor camp and Arizona State camp as well; anywhere I can go to get better," he said.
