Scout.com is pleased to announce its newest college website to the family. BigPurpleNation.com is replacing the TCUInsider.
Josh Harvey has joined Scout.com as the full-time publisher of the new site. Harvey brings several years of college media experience to the website. Harvey, a native of Iowa, has spent the last four months as the Producer of Southwest Kia SportsTalk which can be seen on KFWD-TV52. Before taking the position, Harvey worked at ABC5 television in Des Moines, Iowa.
"I'm truly excited about the opportunity that I have been given," Harvey said. "It's great to be covering football and basketball at a school that is so well respected around the nation. Along with TCU Athletics, High School football in Texas is second to none and I look forward to getting my feet wet. Growing up I was a Scout junkie so it’s truly an honor to be working for them.
Harvey has several goals for the BigPurpleNation.com site.
"BigPurpleNation is a fresh beginning for TCU coverage," stated Harvey. "TCU fans deserve an online source that provides daily fresh content, and I promise to provide it. Along side articles, I feel it is important for TCU fans to receive audio and visual reports.”
The new site will focus on covering all of the major sports at TCU featuring news and recruiting updates along with expert team analysis.
Harvey lives in Fort Worth with his wife Jayme and their dog Zoe.
