James Sacheck (The Woodlands, Texas | Zionsville H.S.) and Travis Woolf
(Fort Worth, Texas | Paschal H.S.) will each make an appearance at the 108th
U.S. Amateur Championships in Pinehurst, N.C., after the duo qualified by
finishing first and second at the U.S. Amateur Sectional Qualifier last
weekend.
Sacheck who will be make his fourth consecutive appearance at the U.S.
Amateur Championships captured the U.S. Amateur Sectional Qualifier at
Southern Oaks Golf Club last weekend with a 36-hole score of 132.
Woolf will be making his first appearance at the U.S. Amateur Championships
as the Fort Worth product recorded a two-round tally of 135 en route to
securing a berth in Pinehurst.
Jordan Woolf (Fort Worth, Texas | Arlington H.S.) finished third overall at
the U.S. Amateur Sectional Qualifier with a score of 140 and will be an
alternate for the event slated next month.
The 108th U.S. Amateur Championships will be held from August 18th-24th at
the Pinehurst No. 2 and No. 4 located in Pinehurst, N.C.
