The TCU football team has cracked the top 25 as it enters the USA Today poll at No. 23 while being ranked 24th by the Associated Press.

The Horned Frogs, who play at No. 2 Oklahoma Saturday, are off to their first 4-0 start since 2003. TCU has not trailed in its opening four games while outscoring its opponents by a combined margin of 172-31.

TCU leads the nation in run defense (30.5 yards per game) and total defense (183.0 ypg.). The Frogs have allowed their opponents only 39 first downs, also best in the country. TCU is tied for second in turnover margin at +3.0 per game. The Frogs have 13 takeaways while committing just one turnover.

Offensively, TCU averages 43.0 points and 423.0 yards in total offense per game.

The Frogs have now appeared in the national polls in seven of the last nine seasons. TCU is ranked for the first time since it was 19th on Sept. 2, 2007. The Frogs began the 2008 campaign without votes in either poll.
