Roy Eyeing Two Visits

Bravvion Roy

Scout.com caught up with Spring defensive lineman Bravvion Roy from Texas just before the start of the season. He is going into his junior year and has not made lots of visits up to this point. But for this upcoming year, a couple of programs are on the list that he wants to see…

At the moment, Spring (Tex.) defensive tackle Bravvion Roy has six offers. But based on the interest in him that could change quickly.

Apparently, several programs have said that after September 1 that they intend to recruit him even harder.

UCLA (coaches) said that they intent to keep recruiting me. Also, Stanford, Texas A&M and Kentucky too,” Roy said.

Yes, the explosive and relentless class of 2016 tackle was not able to get out to any programs, citing that he stayed back and worked out with his teammates most of the off season. But for this upcoming year, there are a couple of programs he would like to see in person.

One of which will require a flight and the other, a short drive up Highway 290 west.

“I will probably get out to Texas A&M and hopefully UCLA. Those are the two schools I want to check out right now,” the 6-foot-3, 320-pound Roy said. “Those are two of the schools that are recruiting me the hardest.”

Texas, Louisville, Baylor, Syracuse, Illinois and Missouri are the offers he has in hand at the moment, but as stated, that is not likely to last for much longer.

“Missouri is a school I am in contact with a lot. I would say those coaches are recruiting me hard too,” Roy said.

Roy is going into his junior year and has a couple of goals in mind. One, make the playoffs and the other is to be the No. 1 defense in the district.
